On a Friday morning in Washington, D.C., the life of 41-year-old Demetrius Jones was tragically cut short. On November 6, 2020, at approximately 10:44 a.m., officers from the Fifth District of the Metropolitan Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in the 1700 block of Gales Street, Northeast, in the Kingman Park neighborhood.
