On February 29, 2016, at approximately 4:19 PM, Adam Edwin Barker, aged 21, was shot in the 2700 block of Langston Place SE, Washington, DC. Barker was found with severe injuries and was immediately transported to a nearby hospital. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries the following day, March 1, 2016. The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) launched an investigation and sought public assistance in gathering information regarding this homicide.
