Death by Force

On July 30, 2018, at approximately 5:49 PM, Andre Hakim Young, aged 47, was fatally shot in the 1500 block of 19th Street, SE, Washington, DC. The Metropolitan Police Department responded to the scene and initiated an investigation into the homicide. Young, a resident of District Heights, Maryland, was one of two victims in a double shooting incident. The second victim, who sustained a shoulder injury, managed to walk to a nearby hospital for treatment.
