On June 26, 2010, at approximately 1:47 a.m., 16-year-old Steven Deshawn Mahogany was shot and killed in the 800 block of 21st Street NE, Washington, D.C. The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) responded to reports of gunfire and discovered Mahogany suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite prompt medical assistance, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The homicide is currently unsolved, and the Metropolitan Police Department is actively seeking information from the public to help
