In the crisp late autumn air of November 27, 2016, a life was violently cut short on the 600 block of L Street, SE in Washington, D.C. Anthony Young, a 27-year-old male, was shot and killed, leaving a void in the lives of those who knew him. The incident, which also resulted in the injury of Young's girlfriend from a gunshot wound that caused permanent nerve damage, shattered the peace of that Sunday.
The investigation into the death of Anthony Young led to the arrest of Babajide Pittman.
