Anwar “The Silent Assassin” Wingate, a 24-year-old professional boxer from Maryland, was murdered on November 19, 2023, during an armed robbery in Washington, D.C. The incident occurred in a parking garage located at 2112 8th Street NW, where Wingate was shot in the neck after attempting to fight off his attackers.
