On November 25, 2024, 21-year-old Ximena Ojeda was fatally shot inside a residence in the 3200 block of 32nd Street in Port Arthur, Texas. Port Arthur Police Department officers responded to a call reporting a gunshot victim around 9 p.m. Ojeda was transported to The Medical Center of Southeast Texas, where she was pronounced dead. Justice of the Peace Joseph Guillory II ordered an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
