Death by Force

In the early morning hours of November 11, 2016, the sound of gunshots pierced the quiet of the 3000 block of Stanton Road in Southeast Washington, D.C. Responding to the alert, Metropolitan Police Department officers arrived at the Stanton Glen Apartment complex to a grim scene. On the steps of the building, they discovered two young men, both unconscious and not breathing, having sustained fatal gunshot wounds. One of the victims was identified as 19-year-old Rassaan Jennings.
