Do you know who murdered Henry Thompson? In the early hours of a summer morning in Washington, D.C., the life of Henry Thompson Jr., a Black male, was tragically cut short. On August 3, 2005, at approximately 12:30 a.m., gunshots rang out in the 4000 block of Arkansas Avenue NW. When officers from the Metropolitan Police Department arrived at the scene, they found Thompson suffering from gunshot wounds. First responders rendered aid, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he succumbed to them at the scene.
