On a Saturday night in September 2019, the life of 19-year-old DeAndre Person was tragically cut short in a fatal shooting in Northeast Washington, D.C. The incident occurred around 10:22 p.m. in the 3600 block of Jay Street, Northeast. When police officers arrived at the scene, they found Person suffering from a gunshot wound.
