On a Sunday evening in Washington, D.C., the life of 33-year-old Darrell Michael Grays was tragically cut short. On June 28, 2015, at approximately 5:09 p.m., police responded to the 1600 block of E Street in Northeast D.C. after reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered Grays suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to a local hospital, but his injuries proved fatal, and he was pronounced dead.
