John Getman, a 78-year-old man from Irrigon, Oregon, went missing on November 16, 2015. He suffered from Alzheimer's disease and was diabetic, conditions that likely contributed to his disappearance. Getman was last seen near his home, wearing a brown Carhart coat, blue jeans, a brown plaid shirt, and tennis shoes. At the time, there were concerns he might have been attempting to travel to New York, possibly hitchhiking on a truck, as he had expressed an interest in returning to the state.
