Eric Pearson, 48, male, was shot to death on the evening of February 8, 2016, in the parking lot of a TGI Friday's on the 100 block of North DuPont Highway in New Castle, Delaware. The gunfire erupted just before 7 p.m., shattering the after-work bustle as patrons and staff rushed for cover. Responding officers found Pearson down in the lot; he had been struck multiple times in the torso and could not be saved. He was later identified as a resident of the Philadelphia area.
