Murdered

On February 11, 2015, at approximately 6:55 p.m., 30-year-old Kelvin Leon Powers Jr. was fatally shot in his apartment at 7 Amstel Drive, Apartment 33, within the William Penn Village Apartments in New Castle, Delaware. The incident occurred when Powers's girlfriend was exiting the apartment with her young son and encountered two masked and armed individuals. The assailants forced their way into the apartment and shot Powers multiple times, resulting in his death at the scene.
