Robert Wright, a 36-year-old Black / African American male from New Castle, Delaware, was killed in the early morning hours of December 14, 2020, after gunfire drew New Castle County police to the unit block of Bristol Way in the Kingston Court community. Officers were dispatched at about 5:02 a.m. for a report of a shooting that had just occurred, and when they arrived they found Wright suffering from a gunshot wound.
