On December 14, 2020, at approximately 5:02 a.m., officers from the New Castle County Division of Police responded to a reported shooting on Bristol Way in the Kingston Court community. Upon arrival, they discovered 36-year-old Robert Wright suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite immediate first aid efforts by officers and emergency responders, Wright was pronounced dead at the scene.
