A 25-year-old Black man, Qasim Felder, was fatally shot in New Castle, Delaware on November 14, 2020. He was found in the Appleby Estates community near Estates Drive and Conlin Court after police responded around 4:00 p.m. to reports of gunfire. Officers discovered him suffering from gunshot wounds, and despite life-saving efforts by police and paramedics, the victim died later at a hospital.
