Tymir J. Mason, a 28-year-old Black / African American male from Wilmington, Delaware, was killed in the early morning hours of October 2, 2020, in New Castle. The shooting unfolded outside the Casablanca Restaurant on North DuPont Highway, where what began as a late-night gathering in a restaurant parking lot turned into a deadly scene. Delaware State Police were called to the area shortly after 1:00 a.m. for reports of gunfire, and when troopers arrived, they found Mason suffering from a gunsh ...
