A 15-year-old Black male from New Castle, Delaware named Rashod Faison was shot and killed on the evening of February 10, 2023. Law enforcement officers responded at about 5:58 p.m. to a residence in the Hampton Green Townhouses on Deen Street, after a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Rashod inside the home, suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body. He was later pronounced dead from those injuries.
