A male victim, a 39‑year‑old identified as Derrick Combs, was discovered on the grounds of Towne Point Elementary School in Dover, Delaware, late on August 28, 2018. According to police reports, first responders arrived at the school shortly before 10 PM after witnesses reported hearing gunshots. They located the man lying prone with multiple gunshot wounds. The man, a 39‑year‑old male, was pronounced dead at the scene.
