Lamont Watkins, also known by the nickname "ATL," was killed in a shooting that occurred on August 7, 2005, at approximately 2:50 a.m. Watkins was found shot to death at the rear of the 3700 block of 7th Street, NE, in Washington, D.C. The case is still open, and the Metropolitan Police Department continues to seek information from the public to aid in solving this crime.
