Do you know who murdered Launell Hall? In the early morning hours of August 1, 2005, the life of Launell Hall, a male resident of Washington, D.C., was tragically cut short. At approximately 3:55 a.m., in the 1600 block of Lyman Place, Northeast, Hall was shot. He succumbed to his wounds at the scene.
Launell Hall is survived by his mother, Sonia Hall, his father, Gregory Matthews, and his daughters. His grandmothers, Carrie V.
Matthews and Loretta Dawkins, as well as a host of other relatives and friends, also mourned his passing.
The Metropolitan Police Department is actively seeking information from the public regarding the circumstances of Hall's death. To date, the case remains an unsolved homicide, and details regarding any potential suspects or arrests have not been publicly released. The investigation into his death is ongoing.
