On a Friday afternoon, February 24, 1994, Lawrence O'Connell, a 35-year-old male, left his job at the Voice of America in Washington, D.C., with the intention of picking up his son from school, a routine he followed every week. Tragically, he would never arrive. O'Connell was abducted as he walked to his car. The following day, his body was discovered by a man walking his dog in a grassy area near RFK Stadium.
