In the early evening of a Tuesday in Washington, D.C., a residence in the 700 block of Langston Terrace, NE, became the scene of a fatal shooting. On March 15, 2005, at approximately 6 p.m., 33-year-old Lovel Allen, a Black male, was discovered inside with gunshot wounds. Emergency services were called to the location, and he was quickly transported to the Washington Hospital Center in an effort to save his life.
