In the early morning hours of Friday, February 28, 2020, a young man’s life was tragically cut short on a street in Northeast Washington, D.C. De’mari Twyman, a 21-year-old male from Oxon Hill, Maryland, was in the 700 block of Monroe Street, NE, near Catholic University, when gunfire erupted at approximately 8:52 a.m..
