In the afternoon of Friday, May 6, 2022, Rashad DeMaris Davis, a 32-year-old man from Southeast Washington, D.C., was fatally shot in the Fairlawn neighborhood. The incident occurred at approximately 4:29 p.m. in the 2300 block of Nicholson Street, SE.
