On Wednesday, July 10, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred in the Southeast area of Washington, D.C., resulting in the death of 28-year-old Devin Jenkins.

At approximately 9:20 p.m., officers from the Metropolitan Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 100 block of Atlantic Street, Southeast.
