A life full of promise was tragically cut short on a Tuesday evening in Washington, D.C. Izaiah Davon Huggans, a 17-year-old male, was shot and killed on February 4, 2025, in the 3500 block of 6th Street, Southeast. Known affectionately to friends and family as 'Zay,' he was remembered for his big, beautiful, and infectious smile that could light up any room. Born in the city on March 23, 2007, Izaiah was a true D.C. native with a life ahead of him.
