In the early evening of January 12, 2022, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace inside an establishment on Good Hope Road in Southeast Washington, D.C. When the chaos subsided, three men were found suffering from gunshot wounds. One of them, a 24-year-old man named Nathan Outlaw, succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
