On July 1, 2020, at approximately 1:21 AM, 18-year-old Kelvin Goggins, also known as "Nunu," was shot and killed in the 1800 block of Q Street, Southeast, Washington, DC. The Metropolitan Police Department responded to the scene after receiving reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found Goggins suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services, Goggins was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
