In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Washington, D.C., the life of 28-year-old Montray Brown was tragically cut short. On April 7, 2019, at approximately 1:35 a.m., police responded to reports of a shooting in the 2400 block of Wagner Street in Southeast D.C. Inside an apartment building, they discovered Brown suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
