On February 13, 2020, Terence Dantzler, a 29-year-old resident of Washington, DC, was tragically killed in a shooting incident. The incident occurred on the 700 block of 8th Street, NW, near the National Portrait Gallery. Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) officers responded to reports of gunfire and discovered Dantzler with multiple gunshot wounds to his head and body.
