On a summer evening in Washington, D.C., a life was tragically cut short. Jose Antonio Yaxon Cuc, a 45-year-old male, was in the 4900 block of North Capitol Street, Northeast, on Friday, July 10, 2020. At approximately 5:59 p.m., the sounds of gunfire shattered the evening calm. When officers from the Metropolitan Police Department arrived at the scene, they found Mr. Yaxon Cuc suffering from a gunshot wound.
