On a summer afternoon in Washington, D.C., 18-year-old Khalliqo Ford, a male resident of Southeast, DC, was fatally shot. The incident occurred on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at approximately 3:53 p.m. in the 200 block of K Street, Southwest. First District officers responded to reports of a shooting and, upon arrival, discovered Ford with gunshot wounds. D.C. Fire and Emergency Medical Services arrived at the scene and found no signs of life.
