Murdered

On May 27, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred in Northeast Washington, D.C., resulting in the death of 23-year-old Chidozie Njoku, a resident of Temple Hills, Maryland.

The incident took place in the 4000 block of Minnesota Avenue in Northeast D.C. around 2:45 p.m. When officers from the Metropolitan Police Department arrived at the scene, they found Njoku unconscious and suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite efforts, he was not breathing and succumbed to his injuries.
