Timothy Pretlow, a 45-year-old male, was killed in a shooting on the evening of Thursday, December 1, 2016, in Washington, D.C.. The incident occurred at approximately 7:29 p.m. in the 1800 block of Capitol Avenue, Northeast. Mr. Pretlow was one of two men shot during the attack. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The second victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
