In the early morning hours of Friday, March 22, 2024, the life of 22-year-old Matthew Ginyard of Temple Hills, Maryland, was tragically cut short in a fatal shooting in Northeast Washington, D.C. The incident occurred around 2:16 a.m. in the 300 block of 59th Street, Northeast, a neighborhood just a short distance from the Maryland state line.
