Larry Neuman, a 73-year-old retired Chicago Police Department (CPD) officer and explosives technician, was fatally shot on June 20, 2024, in the West Garfield Park neighborhood of Chicago. The incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. in the 4300 block of West Monroe Street, just outside his home where he had lived for nearly half a century.
