Laverick Reezy Marshall, a 29-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on August 25, 2010, in the Woodlawn neighborhood of Chicago, IL. The incident occurred late at night during a large street fight near 64th Street and South King Drive. According to reports, police responded to a call about the altercation around 11:30 p.m. When they arrived and managed to disperse the crowd, they found Marshall with a gunshot wound to his back.
