On February 27, 2015, 14-year-old Kierra'Onna "Keke" Rice of Birmingham, Alabama, was fatally shot during a confrontation that originated from a dispute on Facebook. The conflict escalated into a planned physical altercation at a local park, where several girls intended to fight and record the event for online posting.
