In the summer of 2014, the life of 55-year-old Stephanie Grigsby Davis was tragically cut short in Birmingham, Alabama. On June 6th, she was fatally shot by her estranged husband, a local minister, from whom she had sought a protective order. The couple had been married for 25 years, and Davis had recently filed for divorce and moved out of their shared home. The deadly encounter occurred at a Glenwood autism center where she was employed.
