In the summer of 2015, a family dispute in Birmingham, Alabama, ended in tragedy, claiming the life of 37-year-old Chrystol Moore. On the evening of Friday, July 31st, a heated argument erupted between Moore and her elderly father, which would ultimately be their last.
The disagreement reportedly began when 80-year-old Mathew Moore demanded his daughter go out and purchase alcohol for him. When Chrystol refused his request, the verbal altercation escalated with fatal consequences.
Responding to a call, police arrived at the residence to a grim scene. They discovered Chrystol Moore deceased, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Her father, Mathew, was found sitting at the kitchen table nearby.
Following an investigation into the circumstances of the shooting, Mathew Moore was taken into custody. He was subsequently charged with the murder of his daughter, Chrystol. Authorities confirmed that the motive behind the deadly encounter was the argument that ensued after she declined to buy him alcoholic beverages. He was held on a $40,000 bond.
