Marqueze Green, a 21-year-old from Birmingham, Alabama, was fatally shot on September 8, 2018, in a tragic incident that rocked the local community. Green was found with multiple gunshot wounds outside an apartment complex in the southwest part of the city. The shooting took place in the early hours of the morning, and responding officers arrived to find Green critically injured.
