On a Sunday in Birmingham, Alabama, the life of Tawanda Denise Thomas, a 40-year-old female, was tragically cut short. On November 8, 2015, Thomas was found dead in her apartment at the Alpine Village complex in the 1400 block of 13th Avenue South, the victim of a fatal shooting.
