In the summer of 2023, the life of 35-year-old Kapricee Monique Jackson, a Black/African American woman, was tragically cut short in Birmingham, Alabama. On July 7th, authorities responded to a call that led them to a residence where they discovered her body. The investigation that followed determined that Jackson had been fatally shot, and her death was officially ruled a homicide.
