On June 27, 2015, 22-year-old Edric Bernard "Lil E" Robinson of Columbus, Georgia, was fatally shot in Phenix City, Alabama. Born on May 25, 1993, Edric was the son of Eddie B. Robinson, Jr. and Theresa Robinson-Lindsey. He was educated in the Phenix City and Muscogee County school systems, where he actively participated in sports, contributing to the 2001 Peanut Bowl Championship and playing for the Phenix City Dolphins Tiny Tots as number 11.
