On April 28, 2020, 35-year-old Terence Antwan Hayes was fatally shot in Phenix City, Alabama. The incident occurred around 8:20 p.m. near the intersection of 10th Avenue South and Fontaine Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered Hayes suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Piedmont Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus, Georgia, where he was pronounced dead just before midnight.
