On January 21, 2021, in Phenix City, Alabama, 25-year-old Daven Lindsey and 24-year-old Dadrian Trotman were found shot to death in the 900 block of Sandfort Road. The Phenix City Police Department promptly initiated an investigation into the double homicide. Shortly after the incident, authorities arrested 28-year-old Darius Jamar King, charging him with murder in connection to the case.
