Death by Force

On the evening of November 18, 2024, at approximately 8:35 p.m., Phenix City Police responded to reports of a shooting at the Frederick Douglas Apartments located on 11th Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered 30-year-old Princeton Shermal Kelly suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to Piedmont Columbus Regional Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition with life-threatening injuries.
