On October 15, 2015, 29-year-old Christopher Donell Wells was fatally shot during an argument over a girlfriend on the 4300 block of Pulaski Street in Birmingham's Inglenook neighborhood. Following the incident, Roderigues Cunningham turned himself in to authorities and was charged with murder.
