On February 7, 2021, 30-year-old Ladarrius L. Bloxom was found deceased from a gunshot wound in a grassy area at the Valley Brook Apartments, located in the 2900 block of Gallant Drive in Birmingham, Alabama. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene shortly after 1:15 p.m. Preliminary investigations indicated that Bloxom had been involved in a verbal altercation prior to the shooting.
